Background: what is Paneurhythmy?
• Paneurhythmy is a meditation dance with a profound philosophical meaning. It combines harmoniously music, movement, thought and words. Paneurhythmy resembles a dance and has a complex beneficial impact on both physical and mental well-being of its practitioners. Each of the Paneurhythmy exercises reveals a basic philosophical idea expressed through its name, movements, music and the lyrics of its song.
• Pan – cosmic – omni present, whole
• Eu – true, supreme, essence from which everything arises
• Rhythm – periodicity, regularity of movement
Objective: This 10-hour course introduces Paneurhythmy meditation dance, its meaning and movements.
Participants: Interested students in meditation dance can participate, no prior background is required.
